Competitor Stores and Listing Guard: what they read and what they report

How whole-store monitoring works, which stores it supports, and how Listing Guard compares your live listing with your intended price.

Competitor Stores

Instead of adding competitor links one at a time, you can add a competitor’s whole store. MarketPulse reads the store’s own public product feed — Shopify’s /products.json or WooCommerce’s Store API — about once a day, and reports which products appeared, which disappeared, and which had a price cut or rise of at least 1%.

  • Only open feeds. A store that disables its feed cannot be watched; you see a clear message instead of an empty list. Other platforms are not supported.
  • The first scan is a baseline. Everything would look “new” on day one, so nothing is reported until the second scan.
  • A broken feed never wipes your history. An empty or cut-off scan is never treated as “everything was removed”.
  • Limits. Up to 10 stores per company and 2,000 products per store.
  • Track this. One click creates one of your products with that competitor link attached, so normal price and stock monitoring starts.

Listing Guard

Listing Guard looks at your own live product page — for example your Daraz listing — about every 12 hours and compares the price it shows with the price you intend to charge. It reports a different price, a price below your cost, a price below break-even, or a page it could not read three times in a row.

You are notified when a finding appears or changes, with a reminder every three days while it persists — not on every check. It only watches; it never changes a price. See Listing Guard.
