Setting up price, stock and promo alerts
The alert channels available, how digests work, and what triggers a notification.
An alert rule watches for a specific kind of change on a product or competitor link — a price drop, a competitor going out of stock, a new promo appearing — and notifies you through the channel you choose, the moment it happens (or, if you prefer, bundled into a periodic digest instead).
Four channels
- Telegram — a message sent to a Telegram chat you connect.
- WhatsApp — the same idea over WhatsApp.
- Email — sent directly once your company’s SMTP settings are configured.
- Webhook — a generic escape hatch: MarketPulse posts the alert as JSON to any URL you give it, so you can pipe alerts into your own systems or an automation tool.
Real-time or digest
Choose to be notified immediately when an alert fires, or receive a daily or weekly email digest summarizing everything that happened instead — useful once you’re tracking enough competitors that every individual change would otherwise be noisy.
Always visible in-app too
Every alert also shows up in the notification bell in your dashboard, with an unread count, whether or not an external channel is configured — so the in-app record is never dependent on Telegram, WhatsApp or email actually being set up.
