Overview

This policy explains what information MarketPulse (operated by NexForge AI, "we", "us") collects when you use the service, why, and how you can reach us about it. It applies to the marketing site and the MarketPulse dashboard.

Information we collect

Account information — your name, work email and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text) when you sign up, plus your company name.

Catalog data you add — products, competitor URLs, prices and stock levels you enter or that MarketPulse records while monitoring the competitor links you set up.

Technical information — the IP address your signup request came from. We use this specifically to detect free-trial abuse (the same person repeatedly signing up under different names to keep re-claiming a free trial) — it is not used for tracking or advertising.

Payment information — if you pay online, your card/mobile-wallet details are entered directly into our payment processor's (SSLCommerz for local BD payments, or Lemon Squeezy for international card/PayPal payments) own checkout page and never pass through or get stored on our servers. For international payments, Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record — see "Third-party services" below. If you pay manually (bank transfer, bKash, etc.), you may share a transaction reference with us so we can confirm the payment.

How we use information

To provide the service — monitor the competitor links you configure, compute suggested/repriced prices, send the alerts you set up, and enforce your plan's limits.

To review new signups before activation (see "Account approval" below) and to prevent abuse of free trial offers.

To communicate with you about your account, e.g. plan status or a support request you sent us.

Account approval

New company signups start in a pending state. If you sign up for the free plan or subscribe internationally via Lemon Squeezy, your account activates automatically as soon as you verify your email — no human reviews it. If you choose to arrange payment manually (bKash/Nagad/Rocket/bank transfer), a platform administrator reviews and approves the account after confirming payment separately — this manual step exists as an anti-fraud/anti-spam measure for that payment path, not an automated data-processing decision.

Third-party services

Depending on which optional features you turn on, MarketPulse sends limited data to:

  • Telegram or WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you configure an alert channel there, to deliver the alert message you set up.
  • SerpApi — only if you use barcode-based Product Matching, to search for the product you searched for.
  • ScraperAPI — only as a fallback when a competitor site blocks a direct request.
  • Google Analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies via the cookie banner (see "Cookies and local storage" below).
  • SSLCommerz — only when you pay locally, to process that payment. Lemon Squeezy — only when you pay internationally; Lemon Squeezy is the merchant/reseller of record for those transactions and handles that payment under its own Buyer Terms.

None of these are used unless the corresponding feature is actually configured and used.

Cookies and local storage

Your login session is kept in your browser's session storage (not a cookie) and is cleared when you sign out or close the tab — this is always on, it isn't something you can decline. If you're logged into a published Artifact-style preview or similar, that page may keep small, non-tracking preferences (like a remembered tab) in your browser's local storage — private to your own browser.

With your consent (the cookie banner shown on your first visit), we also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, general location (country/city level), device/browser type. We don't use this for advertising. It only loads if you choose "Accept all"; choosing "Essential only" keeps it off. See Google's own Privacy Policy for how it handles this data.

Data retention

We keep your account and catalog data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us — we'll act on that request within a reasonable time, subject to any records we're required to keep for legal or accounting reasons (e.g. billing history).

Your choices

You can review and edit most of your own data directly from the dashboard (Settings, Team, Products). For anything else — including a request to export or delete your data — email us at .

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
